Weekend was great

Hi all, well it was a great weekend. Spent some good quality time with the boys.
We initially though had to get the cat vaccinated for her spell in the nursery while we are away at Christmas. Wasnt that a joy as I dont have a cat carrier and she was not impressed with being put in a cardboard box. So I ended up wrapping her in a towel with just her head sticking out.
We took the boys to a mini street plan that the local council/municipality has laid out near to us, purley for teaching groups of children, rules of the road when riding bicycles. The went round and round the layout having loads of fun, stopping at the traffic lights and stop streets. Then we took them down to the beachfront and we all had an icecream cone. Messy but great fun. Came home and barbequed some meat and sausage and just chilled.
Sunday was relaxing too, we popped a chicken in the weber to roast and relaxed outside, it was a beautiful day and we made the most of it. We ended up at My brothers to celebrate his sons 4th birthday and didnt get home till really late. But it was a great afternoon and evening. Yay summer is here.
